Dr. Victoria Lemieux, who co-leads the ICICS research cluster Blockchain@UBC, has been awarded the Blockchain Leadership Award in the Ecosystem Category at the second Annual Blockchain Revolution Global Awards, held online on July 7, 2020.
This annual event recognizes innovation, leadership and research excellence in enterprise. It focusses on blockchain applications and solutions for business, and how industries are being transformed by distributed ledger technologies. The ceremony was co-hosted by the Blockchain Research Institute and the City of Toronto.

Dr. Lemieux was also recently named one of the top 20 women in cybersecurity in Canada by IT World Canada.
