ICICS co-hosted and co-organized the 31st Meeting of the Wireless World Research Forum (WWRF 31) at UBC Robson Square from October 22–24, 2013. A number of high-profile speakers from industry, academia, and national laboratories presented talks addressing this year’s theme, “Wireless-Enabled Smart Societies in the 2020s”. 2013 Motion Metrics/ICICS Graduate Scholarship Awarded
Mechanical Engineering doctoral student Matthew Pan is the 2013 recipient of the Motion Metrics/ICICS Graduate Scholarship. The $5,000 annual award is granted to a second-year Masters or PhD student who is supervised by an ICICS member, and who demonstrates excellence in multidisciplinary, application-oriented research.
