Quantum Computing Training Program Funded

The ICICS research cluster Quantum Computing led by electrical and computer engineering professor Lukas Chrostowski has been awarded a grant of $1.65 million over 6 years under NSERC’s Collaborative Research and Training Experience (CREATE) program. The funding will enable the cluster to launch a new training program in quantum computing hardware and software. Faculty from Simon Fraser University and the University of Victoria will also contribute their expertise. For more information, please see the Stewart Blusson Quantum Matter Institute’s announcement.
