On August 20, 2010, twenty-eight of Canada’s top undergraduate science students toured the ICICS facilities as part of a national poster competition hosted by UBC. This event was a good opportunity for ICICS members to meet potential UBC graduate students whose research interests align with their own. The students enthusiastically toured the following labs:
Collaborative Advanced Robotics and Intelligent Systems Laboratory (CARIS):

Interactive Multimedia Lab: neighbourhood-design demo
Digital Multimedia Lab: 3D research demos.
We look forward to some of them returning to UBC in the near future as ICICS graduate students.
