With the renewal of the UBC-Rogers partnership on 5G research and development until 2025, we are able to provide increased support for research projects. We are delighted to announce that Raymond Chau has taken on the newly created position of Program Manager, UBC-Rogers 5G Partnership. Raymond brings his skills and experience in both academia and industry to support projects over the entire operational lifecycle. He is the UBC counterpart to Jade Salazaar, Rogers Innovation & Partnerships Lead, and will work closely with Jade. Raymond will be based in ICICS 383, but is currently working via Zoom.Together with the UBC Office of the Vice-President, Research and Innovation (VPRI), we will also be developing and funding projects on a range of topics including wildfires and point-of-care health, which are beginning now.
