Best Paper Award for UBC-Rogers Partnership Project on Cellular Traffic Prediction

The UBC-Rogers partnership on 5G wireless technologies research and development has generated an award-winning paper at a highly competitive international communications conference. Electrical and Computer Engineering professor Vincent Wong and his doctoral student Zihuan Wang authored “Cellular Traffic Prediction Using Deep Convolutional Neural Network with Attention Mechanism” for the 2022 IEEE International Conference on Communications, held in Seoul, South Korea.
